This sculpture was created by Takahiro Hirata.
It is my favourite from this year’s Sculpture by the Sea.
In this photo I like how it works with the light around it.
The surfaces are rendered hard but the way the light is cast still gives it a fair bit of depth, I think.
I think that the sculpture benefited from the overcast morning.
