An eastern section of Sydney.
Here we get a minor section of train line, some of The Domain, Darlinghurst, Kings Cross and a slew of other suburbs.
Other than Bondi Junction, most of the taller buildings seem to be more scattered throughout this area and instead there’s more of a concentration of places designed to appear to be suburban even though they are much closer to urban.
I like how there’s vegetation spread throughout the area, but I wish that there were less buildings.
I like the way the clouds in the distance frame the area. It feels almost as if everything just suddenly cuts off rather than continues.
I also like just how vast a view this is. There’s a significant amount of space in this shot. Yet once more the area seems small, and it probably is. At least from this view it is.
I’m sharing this photo as part of The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme this week is “Cityscapes“.
This challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This week is hosted by Patti and next week’s will be hosted by Leya.
I hope you enjoy.

A lovely black & white shot!

Yeah. I don’t think it would’ve been as much had it not been for the vantage point.
