Here’s a photo of Mistral Point taken whilst at Mistral Point.
I like this shot, but I think it would be better without the people.
I don’t think that you need the people in this shot to get a good idea of the size of the area and I think that they distract a little from the textural and detail contrasts between the three main parts of this photo.
However, it is kind of interesting to see most of them moving in a forward direction.
I like that moving from the grass to the rock and then to the sky the sections of the photo become less detailed in a sense.
I think that, even though there is a reduction in detail, each part remains sublime in some way. They each work well with each other due to being in a mostly natural state.
I guess that as a positive, the people add a sense of journey to the photo.
