Mistral Point

Here’s a photo of Mistral Point taken whilst at Mistral Point.

I like this shot, but I think it would be better without the people.

I don’t think that you need the people in this shot to get a good idea of the size of the area and I think that they distract a little from the textural and detail contrasts between the three main parts of this photo.

However, it is kind of interesting to see most of them moving in a forward direction.

I like that moving from the grass to the rock and then to the sky the sections of the photo become less detailed in a sense.

I think that, even though there is a reduction in detail, each part remains sublime in some way. They each work well with each other due to being in a mostly natural state.

I guess that as a positive, the people add a sense of journey to the photo.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
