Sisters Three
Similar to yesterday’s shared photo, but focusing more closely on The Three Sisters and how they’re partially obscured by clouds. I do like how the clouds affect the image as it makes it feel more vague in a way. It … Continue reading

Three Sisters and Mount Solitary Among Clouds
When I recently returned to the mountains I went back to this spot to try and capture it with clouds filling just the valley. Instead I got this. I like this as it alters the feel of the area; especially … Continue reading
Narrow Neck Through Clouds
Or part of it anyway. I really like how the clouds obscure detail in this one. There’s enough to get an idea of things, but you’re missing the whole picture. I hope you enjoy.

Wind Erosion
This is part of a cave that was eroded by wind, or at least that is what I’ve surmised from what I’ve read. I like how the layers are revealed as you get a sense of different periods of time … Continue reading
Three Sisters and Mount Solitary
There’s a quietness to this image that I was trying to show through processing. I didn’t quite get it to come forward, but I’m happy with the result. However, I need to state that this area is not as red … Continue reading

Figure Eight
When I was bushwalking a few weeks ago with a friend we went to The Figure Eight Pool. I wasn’t overly interested in seeing it again (Here are two photos I took when I was last there) due to how … Continue reading

Bulbous Rock Pool
As seen in The Royal National Park. This photo doesn’t show much of what is in the rock pool, but I think it’s nice that it still provides a glimpse. I do like how there’s some life surrounding the rock … Continue reading

Water Onto Rock
A waterfall I’ve shot a couple of times before. This one has a nice variation in lighting, I think. I also think that it’s nice how the waterfall almost looks still. I hope you enjoy.
Weathered Rock
Saw this at a beach, as evidenced by the appearance of sand, and waves, and ocean… Why did I state that? It’s rather obvious. Anyway, I saw this and tried to get a photo that captured it well. I feel … Continue reading

An Open Space for a Rocky Landscape
The same location as seen in these photos. I like the “rough flatness”, as well as the feeling of the area being open. The small pools of water reflect the sky quite nicely, and there are a few interesting formations … Continue reading
