Breaking Waves Consume the Shoreline

During my recent road trip I was afforded the opportunity to get this shot.

The waves breaking on the shoreline was, in the light from the overcast sky, quite beautiful.

I think that there’s some interesting textures in this shot.

The lighter colours help to differentiate the water’s forms as well as help to define the form of the rocks pretty well.

I like that the whitewater almost appears to be moving away from the rocks rather than breaking around them.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
