Customs Tower

This is a rather old structure at La Perouse.

A quick search has led me to find out that it was used to help tackle smuggling problems.

I think I was trying to impose a sense of space when I took this shot. Space-wise it makes the tower look kind of small, but at the same time it doesn’t feel small.

I think that this image works really well in monochrome. There’s a sense of atmosphere that permeates the image, and details come through well with how the light is falling on everything.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
