The Cooks River Under a Smoke-Filled Sky

This was taken in late November. It was a day not too long after the bushfires gained greater awareness.

I think this photo works best as a contrast to this one.

I think that in this photo the sky looks dirty, which probably has a lot to do with the smoke in the air.

The scene is kind of pretty, but also uncomfortable and ominous.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s photo challenge for last week.

The theme for this one is “Weather”.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
