Also known as The Sly Fox.

It had been a while since I was last there. I think it was late 2018.

I was walking through Newtown on Sunday evening so I could take photos to kill some time. Reached The Sly Fox and saw the padlock and chain on the doors.

Just found out that (at least at the moment) this is a permanent change, which is a massive shame as it wasn’t a bad place to be.

Maybe it’ll be redeveloped as some sort of apartment complex, or “boutique” place, or some other sterile equivalent. Maybe it’ll reopen. Maybe neither of these will happen.
