Percussive Focus

This is (as far as I’m aware) the drummer for Somnium Nox, a band I photographed last year whilst they were supporting Wolves in the Throne Room (the gallery is available here).

I really like this shot due to how still the drummer’s face is, whilst his hands and arms appear to be moving rapidly. It’s an interesting contrast, I think.
