A Poem About Feeling Tired

A strong desire to write, but soon I must sleep, hence the writing of this one.
Rather simple, basic stuff.

I hope you enjoy.

To be awake is what I desire
Though that is what I currently am
However, only physically it is true
For I am not quite feeling so otherwise

Though the day has been long
It has not been overly taxing
And perhaps that is why
I feel sleepier than I appear

Of course this is no worry
For the time of rest fast approaches
I merely felt a desire
To express something mundane

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

  1. Well written. I feel more bored than tired.
