A Poem About Watching Meters

This was written faster than I usually write these, but I just wanted to scribble down what I could and not think about how it came across.

This isn’t anything special and it’s not about anything particularly great, but I have spent a good part of the day watching a meter which has led to a day feeling longer than I’d hoped. I’ve had to as I need to track some data and so a long day of watching a meter whilst doing other things. Oh well.

I hope you enjoy.

Watching meters stay low
Desiring them to go high
There is little I can do
Other than watch them struggle

I see them go where I desire
Only for brief periods
For the meters measure
A weakened state

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
