One listen for this one.
I’ve been meaning to write all day and haven’t gotten around to it until now. Had to force myself a bit. Sad sort of day but won’t get into that too much.
I went into this wanting to see what would come out. Didn’t expect much and didn’t get much, but I think I said enough. Sort of described the song, sort of didn’t.
ConcernedApe’s “Stardew Valley Overture” is from Stardew Valley’s soundtrack, Stardew Valley OST.
I hope you enjoy.

Gentle the sound rises. It is quiet, and full, and it is waking up, but it remains calm. It remains relaxed and gentle and drifting. Woodwind comes in and it floats along and there’s now a greater range but it keeps the simplicity. It remains small.
Beat starts pounding away steadily, as does another bit of percussion that sounds like a drop, but it still is low. It still is relaxed. There is no need for a burst of energy here; it’s just enough to keep change and growth, and it keeps going when there’s a little more space for something a little lower and softer, and perhaps a moment for reflection.
The beat picks up a little more but the smallness remains. It is sweeping and and shimmering and gentle, and all kinds of pleasant. It is welcoming and it keeps things easy, and it soon wraps up as the song ends.
