I can’t remember if I was thinking about this whilst photographing the concert or whilst processing the photos, but there’s some stuff I want to do with contrast that interests me, and the below is a result of an attempt … Continue reading

Moving Into the Note
Yet another recent photo from a concert. This is a pretty straightforward photo, I think, and that’s fine. It’s just a moment of someone being in the moment and that’s nice enough for me. I hope you enjoy.

Inner City Sunset
Sometimes I think about when I lived closer to the city. Both times were somewhere within the space of this scene, or at least near the space of this scene. I think about it and I find myself missing those … Continue reading

Phone Light Waving
Here’s another recent photo taken at a gig during what I believe was meant to be some sort of emotional moment. I’m not entirely certain but I believe it was the case. I remember hearing one of the band members … Continue reading

Ground Light Formation
These lights are next to each other and are on a level surface. At least, I think the surface is level. Anyway, this was taken in Sydney CBD. I wanted to try and get the lights on their own and … Continue reading
Between Lights, Within Lights
This is a photo I took two days ago. This was a lucky chance and so I jumped on it, and I think it captures the moodiness of the band well. I hope you enjoy.

Around the Head a Beam of Light
Another recent gig photo. This one isn’t anything particularly good, but I like how the light removes most detail from the face. I hope you enjoy.

Viewing Architecture
Another photo featuring Sydney’s Sydney Opera House in some capacity. There was some activity around here when this was taken, but a bit less than I think I thought there would have been. Still, it was pleasant to have that … Continue reading

Imitation Rose
Here’s a photo of a prop rose my partner has. I had an idea for a photo using it but it didn’t work so instead I took this, which I think turned out quite well. I could’ve done a bit … Continue reading
Drummer in Motion
This was taken at a gig I recently photographed. I was trying to capture Delta Sleep’s drummer’s motion and I think I did alright. There’s a sense of power and flow here, as well as precision and consistency. This is … Continue reading
