Southward Coastal Sprawl
I’ve been meaning to share this photo for a while as a comparative to this one, but never got around to doing so… until now. I don’t know what to say about this one. I think there’s something interesting about … Continue reading

Puddle in the Car Park
This morning when I was parking my car at work, the car park had a good few large puddles throughout, such as this one. Don’t know where it came from, though there was a leak on a lower level, so… … Continue reading

Bondi Icebergs
Another photo featuring Bondi Icebergs, and with a bit of railing in the way, but it sorta kinda makes for some interesting framing… sorta. I like the sense of isolation that comes through in this photo. It’s almost as though … Continue reading

The Moon Above Bondi
Another long night and day, though part of this one was spent preparing for a trip tomorrow afternoon rather than much of anything else, and that’s nice. This is another photo featuring Bondi Beach, though more of it. I feel … Continue reading

Silhouettes Playing to Shadows
Another band photo. Feels quiet in a sense, and perhaps it was, but it might more accurate to describe this moment as “low”, if that makes sense. I’m fairly certain the band wasn’t playing a louder song at this moment. … Continue reading

Red Smear
Same artists as seen here. I like how in this one the main red seems to go around the desk. I also like how there’s this dragging mass that renders even the recognisable less so. I hope you enjoy.

Traces of the Sprawl
This was taken a few weeks ago. I drove out somewhere at night to take some photos of the stars (as seen in the previous photo) and also ended up taking a photo of the moon. Also the below. When … Continue reading

Lights Behind the Window Wall
A photo taken this morning in a (somewhat) heavy fog. I’d aimed to take a photo of these windows for the below-mentioned challenge, but I was aiming to capture reflection. I wasn’t expecting this. There’s probably an argument for the … Continue reading

Green Swirl
This is a gig photo and there are performers in this photo. I was playing around with dragging the shutter, ended up with this. There are better results, but I like how this one turned out. Almost looks like an … Continue reading

Lingering Buildings
Another bit of experimenting. I was trying to create some smooth light lines with this one, but it didn’t quite work. Instead I ended up with this, which I think worked out better than my original intent. I hope you … Continue reading
