Why 6 is Afraid of 7

There was a time where the numbers all got along. Those times were prosperous and peaceful. There was much enjoyment to be had by all. Everyone thought the peace would last, until one day, when all that changed.

6 was chilling with 9, doing wicked mad stunts with their rocket roller blades, when a new “playa” rolled onto the field. His name was 7. 6 extended a warm welcome to 7, along with 9. Whilst 6 and 9 explained the area that was around them to 7, they went for hot dogs and chilli-filled bagels of a delicious variety. It was quite. 7 seemed alright. However, they were oblivious to what 7’s real motives were.

One day, 6 and 9 went to 7’s crib to chill. 7 greeted them and let them in. Whilst their backs were turned, 7 knocked them out.

When they came to, they were tied up, hanging from the ceiling of a lab. 6 ask 7 to tell him what was going on. 7 explained his plan to take over the general area that they were in and he only had to do one more thing.

That one thing was to consume 6 and 9.

9 passed out at the horror of this plan. 7 begun his consumption, starting with 9. When he was complete, the lab began to crumble. 7 demanded to know why this was happening. It had turned out that 9 was a load bearing number.

7 was quite disgruntled with this revelation. He had to act fast. He made a quick approach for 6 and was about to begin consuming him when a large chunk of debris fell on 7, seemingly ending his life. All hope seemed lost for 6 as the lab continued to crumble, when the thrice octopus flew in and saved him.

As they flew off, the last of the lab finished crumbling; hopefully ensuring that 7’s number was up.

6 didn’t feel entirely at ease though. He felt that somehow, 7 would survive and come after him. Fearing 7’s retribution, he looked onward into the horizon, knowing that his last days of freedom were at an end as the thrice octopus took him to a place where he could remain in hiding until it was safe once more.
