Outward Spray

Here is a picture I took on the same day as these ones.
I’ve decided to use it as my entry for The Daily Post‘s weekly photo challenge.
This theme for this week is “Inspiration“.

I find it difficult to explain why I find water and its various forms inspirational.
I do find myself fascinated by it though – especially the ocean.

I think I’ve said the following here before, but I’ll say it again (in case I’m wrong):

The ocean deserves a great amount of respect.
It is as ferocious as it is gentle.
It is as powerful as it is weak.
It brings death just as much as it brings life and it remains mostly unexplored.

I find myself drawn to it frequently.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

I like the lines that say, “The ocean deserves a great amount of respect.
It is as ferocious as it is gentle.” Indeed. The power of water to calm and sooth. I love the sound of water crashing ashore – I live close to Lake Michigan in the USA and she can be as unforgiving as any ocean. NIce post. Have a great week.
