White Bay Power Station

Here’s a photo of the aforementioned object of desire.

I say that as I want to see the interior, but it’s fenced off so it’s a no-go.

Actually, I only used it as I thought it would be humorous.

However, I do want to get inside and explore around, but I’d much prefer to do it legally, so until that can happen it shall remain closed off to me.

The power station is heritage listed for some reason, but I think that’s good as it helps preserve at least a small part of Sydney’s history.

From what I’ve read, it used coal to provide power.

This is not the best photo of White Bay Power Station, but I like the angle as it’s one side directly facing the camera.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

  1. Oh I’d love to prowl around in there – bet it’s creepy, though!
