Monochrome Sunrise

Here is a picture I took recently.

I was at Bondi early in the morning just after my birthday.
I went there to get pictures of the sunrise again, as well as take some time-lapse photos.

I like this photo as you don’t see many photos of the sunrise in monochrome.

My view probably has more to do with not coming across many more than anything as I imagine there’s actually quite a of monochromatic sunrise photos out there.

I also like how there’s a small wave in the shot. I think it adds a bit more to the photo in this instance.

  1. well done! it’s hard to do a sunrise shot in monochrome but the light is wonderful in this.
