City and Sky

On Saturday last week, Je and I were heading home from being out.

That’s a cool start to a story.

On Saturday afternoon, it was and happened to be.

Anyway, we were heading home and crossing over a footbridge.

I saw the sky and the city and decided to get some shots as I liked the patterns that I was seeing.

I like how the sky can have so many different patterns displayed.

I like how it can look intense, mild, and many other things.

In these photos, I like how the different shades, layers and patterns in the sky contrast with the parts of the city that can be seen.

I like that the city seems to stand out
I also like that it looks a bit bleak and small.
That would mostly be because this is taken from a distance and not much of the city can be seen… I think.

I do like the contrast between the angularity of the city and the smoothness of the sky.

This is my fifty-fifth entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should.
