Mount Solitary in the Morning

Whilst everything will eventually wear down, some things are more “Resilient” than others.

It’s probably no surprise at this point that I quite like Mount Solitary. It might not be the mightiest or tallest mountain, but I think that it is a rather amazing one to look upon.

I feel like it draws me in in ways that I find difficult to explain.

There’s a raw power in nature, I think.
It draws respect as you appreciate its beauty.

Something that I really like about Mount Solitary is how it looks like it sits close to the middle of many valleys. It makes me wonder as to what was surrounding it before the land eroded away.

This is my submission forΒ The Daily Post‘s photo challenge for this week.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
