Last week I attended a birthday.

That is all I have to say on the matter.

This is my submission into This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week. This one had the theme of “culture” and I thought that this photo was appropriate.

It was a fairly low-key birthday, but no less enjoyable than a big party.

Apparently I had my camera with me, so I took some photos whilst I was there with this being one of said photos.

It was a slight accident and I wasn’t expecting it to turn out the way it did, but I’m happy with how it looks.

It seems so moody in one of those “serious art statement” ways, but it’s a rather simple image where the long exposure didn’t quite turn out and that’s what makes me like the photo.
