The Sun Shines on Darling Harbour

Whilst walking home one day last week I went through and around Darling Harbour.

Here’s one of the shots that I took.

I like that the colour is fairly muted, almost seeming as though it was partly drained from the photo.

I also like how the lighting is somewhat varied, and that you can only see the reflection of the sun instead of both the sun and its reflection.

I think that the pattern that the light setup for Vivid Festival works well with the reflection on the water, obscuring part of it with an overlay of its own structure.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
