I’ve had a fun two days, as it currently stands.
Actually, I should rephrase as it has not yet been two days.
Since the early hours of the morning yesterday, I’ve had a fun time.
On Monday night I had dinner, went to sleep a few hours after. Usual process for me.
I woke up at some hour in the middle of the night and had to go to the toilet, which I did, which, when I was done, was very quickly followed by throwing up into the bathroom sink instead of the toilet as I’m very smart.
Cleaning up was not fun.
Eventually I was able to get back to sleep, but woke up a few hours later when daylight was beginning to filter into my bedroom.
I felt dizzy and dehydrated, which a berocca helped alleviate.
I headed to university as I was meeting up with a couple of people to study for the exam that I was meant to sit today.
When I got there I said “hi” to the one person who was there and then went to the bathroom to throw up a little more.
Fun times, let me assure you.
I then spent a fair bit of the time that I was there studying trying to type and going to sleep. I left after a few hours as I was getting little done, was working very slowly and felt rather weak.
I got home and slept a little more, which did help a little. I also went to sleep at night a fair bit earlier than I normally would as I felt exhausted.
It was a pretty good sleep, to be honest.
When I woke up this morning I felt somewhat-okay, but of course my body as not done with getting whatever it is in my system out and decided that it would be a good idea to make sure that I had the runs.
Even more fun times.
So I missed my exam that was today and am at home, resting.
I’ve been to see a doctor and was told to keep my fluids up which is something that comes as no surprise.
I do know that I have to keep resting, but the one thing that I absolutely cannot miss right now is work due to the need of the almighty dollar in order to make sure that I can do the things that allow me to do the things and then some.
What I have may be food poisoning. It may be viral. I have a feeling that it is food poisoning more than it is a virus of some sort.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter as to what is the cause of my being ill. What matters at the moment is my recovery so I can get better and get back to doing the things that involve study and exams.
It sucks, but it is what it is.
I’m having a bit of a sook, but soon I will be fine.
The time it took to write five-hundred words: 08:35:41
If I had written yesterday, this would have been much slower.
I still feel that it is not fast enough, however.
Written at home.
