On one of the mornings of the field trip I woke up early to catch the sunrise.
Actually, that was every morning of the field trip.

On this particular one, I walked along the road behind the field station in order to find a good location to take a photo of the sunrise. There was plenty of fog, but no sunrise as of yet.

I wasn’t able to get far due to water, so I went to the lake and took some photos there or a few minutes. On my way back I could see the sun shining from somewhere along the road so I went back and took a bunch of photos.

I like how the fog affects the scene, making things appear a bit more… I don’t know… scenic?

I also like as to how the vegetation is silhouetted among the light shining from somewhere in the distance.
