There is a large boat in this photo.
This naval ship kind of reminds me of a large building. I think that it has to do with the shape of the thing.
It doesn’t look flashy and appears to be fairly practical and professional, which I guess that, in conjunction with it’s large size indicating perhaps the same thing, might be the point.
I like how the light falls on the boat and highlights different parts of its outside.
I also like how despite there being a fair bit of details, the boat doesn’t look ornate.
This is my entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.
The reason that this one is of a boat is that the theme for this week is “Boats” due to this being the first Thursday of the month, as every first Thursday of the month is a themed M.M.
If you are a photographer, then I recommend checking out Monochrome Madness and consider participating in the event. It’s been going for a few years now and it’s a fun way to be part of a small photography community.
I also recommend that you check out Leanne’s work outside of Monochrome Madness.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
