Five-Hundred Word Challenge 448: Singing and Dancing

Of course, there is always a way forward when you’re entangled in vines, but don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, lest you actually take the information on board and stop pointlessly struggling against said vines.

Who knows? If you ignore what you’re told, maybe they’ll carry you to somewhere new.

It is always possible that they might even carry you somewhere old, but in this instance let us go with new, for that leads to things far more fantastic than something that would be revisited for the umpteenth time.

After the struggle has stopped, these vines will carry you off to somewhere new and exciting. A place full of adventure and drama, tension and mourning, problem and resolution and something that is bittersweet, yet uplifting all the same.

Toward the thick forests of growth that surround your very being at that point in time and then toward the sky, to the clouds that shall grin and laugh as you cannot escape, and yet there will be comfort, for it will all be happy and joyful as a musical number breaks out and you see little woodland creatures and some plants dancing about as you’re carried along through the sky and into a tree that seems hollow due to only being a shell on the outside, but on the inside it is far more massive than what was originally perceived.

It will be choreographed well and advance the plot of the situation somehow. Once you come to the realisation that all is okay, the vines shall release you and of course you shall too start singing and dancing along and it will be as fantastic as something that is fantastic.

The sun shall look stern in order to hide the fact that it is enjoying itself a fair bit, but of course that won’t fool anyone and eventually the crasis that it hides behind shall crumble and it too shall join in on everything that is happening.

Of course this would mean that the sun would be hurtling toward the earth and everything therefore shall be destroyed before the musical number is over, but we can’t have that happen so instead it will just stay where it is in order to protect the beings that it protects from various conquerors.

This will no doubt lead to a stunning conclusion that shall be enjoyed by all participants. There shall be festivities that will happen in a quick run as the ending tries to wrap up as much as possible without skipping anything, leading to a garbled mess but of course that is not how it will be perceived and therefore the conclusion will be as stunning as a mullet that is as stunned as it does stun.

Hopefully there will be room for some sort of water display in there somehow, but the budget might run over and therefore you’d have to go back to being on your merry way to wherever you were going, so best enjoy it whilst it lasts.

I’m happy with how this turned out.
It’s wonderfully ridiculous.

Written at work.
