Organism Bike

Shortly after dropping our stuff off at the hostel in which we were staying, my partner and I went for a walk along The Yarra.

We saw this bike at the end of our walk.

I had no idea as to how long this bike had been underwater, but (from what my partner pointed out), there was a number of aquatic organisms that were living (or at least at one point lived) on the bike.

There’s an interesting meeting of urban and natural on this bike due to the bike becoming a habitat facilitator for aquatic organisms.

I think that the bike works well with the background and the reflection as it doesn’t clash with the scenery and the reflection is not brighter, or as full in detail as the bike.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
