Harbour Coastline

A view of what the title describes.

This is a bit of a simple photo. Not sure if there is too much or not enough colour.

I do feel as though the scene is quiet and relaxing. There are a few details, but due to the simplicity and lack of action, the scene lacks a feel of being busy.

I do like how the contrast between the urban and the natural appears. The natural area appears larger, but only due to its closeness to the shot location.

Balls Head is an area I am quite fond of. I’ve good and bad memories of the area and it’s been a highly important part of my adulthood.

This is my submission into The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge for this week.

The theme for this week is “Pick a Place“.

The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:

Week 1 – Patti

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya

Week 3 – Amy

Week 4 – Tina

This week is hosted by Tina and next week’s will be hosted by Patti.

I recommend checking out the challenge to see how people interpret each theme.
I also recommend giving it a go.

I hope you enjoy.
