Think Fast, Act Fast

I’ve still got the itch to keep on writing poetry and make an attempt to improve.
I also still have the itch to keep sharing it, regardless the low quality of my output.

So here’s another attempt at a poem.

I think I’ll go for something longer next time, or at least try to go for something longer.

I hope you enjoy.

Need to think fast
Need to act fast
Be nimble on my feet
And be sure not to slow
Rest is necessary
Though right now a hindrance
As time is short
Though it seldom is long
Once the motion ends
Then a respite will come
So long as the motion completes
And shows a sense of the deliberate
Until then speed remains
To race against time
It’s in short supply
Though rarely isn’t

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
