Young Avicennia marina

Also known as a grey mangrove.

This is near where I grew up. This place has (at least in my lifetime) always had mangrove plants, but it’s still nice to see them spreading as they help to keep the local environment healthy and stable.

I like how the light and colour came through in this shot. There’s a certain something about it that I can’t quite describe that appeals to me.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
