Five-Hundred Word Challenge 750: Period Known as “Spring”

And now the weather is warming up as we are currently in the second day of the period known as “spring”. It is known as that due to everyone suddenly having a bit more bounce in their step. They need to be careful they don’t spring up too high as they may exit the planet’s atmosphere and end up somewhere else. I hear that that is quite undesirable a thing to have to deal with as it can take a while to return.

Anyway, we’re now in whatever this season is meant to be and there are birds around and flowers are revealing themselves after many a month of being in hiding, unless there were plants that were revealing themselves during the past few months and have decided to hide away in the coming months, in which case they are now going in hiding. Also, the birds were already moving about; some in far greater numbers than what one usually sees. I guess that means that they will continue to do whatever it is that they will do. Probably a good thing rather than a bad thing, if I do say so myself and so on and so forth.

The air is a little warmer sooner and the temperature is gradually going up rather than down, but it still remains cold in the evenings. That’s fine. Prefer the cold to the hot. Hopefully the change is not too rapid. We’ve had enough natural disasters throughout the country over the past few years. Would prefer they not be exacerbated even further, but admittedly there is a great deal of hope behind that as right now it does not seem to be the case, but all you can do is keep trying and working on informing people and helping them make informed decisions, right?

My apologies; I seem to have lost myself for a moment there. Anyway, as I was saying, new season, old things, repetition, cycles, cycles and going around in cycles. There’s a bit going on and at the same time very little. It’s a pleasant day outside. A bit cold inside, but it will warm up and then there will be some warmth in here as well as out there. There are things to do. This season often involves waking up as some sort of symbolic gesture to the everything, or something like that. It seems as though things may just be a little less sleepy, but of course the only way to truly find out is by going outside multiple days in a row and there is little chance of that happening, unless there is a great chance of that happening, in which case the chance is great. Perhaps the chance is greater than what is possibly imaginable.

Anyway, we’re in a new season and hopefully it’s a smooth season. Hopefully things aren’t rough, but who knows what will happen? Just need to take it one day at a time, persevere and keep moving in the forward direction.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 06:39:58

Could’ve written this better, I think.
Mostly influenced by going up to the local gardening shop this morning.
Perhaps I should’ve just written about gardening.

Written at home.
