Weaving Through Valleys

Just realised that Mount Hay is visible in this photo. Might’ve realised previously, but cannot remember if I did. Anyway.

This is another photo of some place in The Blue Mountains that I’ve taken in the last few months. It was taken at the same location as this photo.

I think this is a relaxed photo, in part due to the light of the late afternoon. I also feel that it feels quiet and solitary in a way that massive areas of land seem to feel that way. There are some paths through these valleys, but they’re not visible and so the idea of the bushland being completely untouched remains preserved.

This is my submission into the one hundred-and-fiftieth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

The theme for this one is “Let’s Get Wild!“.

The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:

Week 1 – Patti

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya

Week 3 – Amy

Week 4 – Tina

This week’s challenge is guest-curated by Dianne Millard of Rambling Ranger. Next week Patti is curating. The theme for next week has been announced, and it will be “From Large to Small”.

The challenges are pretty fun and there’s a lot of room for interpretation that doesn’t get in the way of enjoyment. If you’re into photography, then I suggest participating, or at the least checking out what other people are submitting.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

The sky draws you into what might otherwise be a harsh landscape. Very well done. 🙂
