Tim Hecker: Seasick III

Alright, so I’m not sure what I was going to do with this one.
I kind of went “impressionistic” and didn’t really capture much of the song.
Also I may have been too vague with what I wrote.

Tim Hecker’s “Seasick III” is from The North Water.

I hope you enjoy.

Something low looms, deep and eerie.
Sounds stretch into presence and unease permeates throughout.
Low menace as deeper they go on a day clear and covered.

The sounds continue stretching and echoing off, repeating a form and seeming harmonious, but not quite getting there. They loop and change and remain utterly the same and continue on, becoming sharp, though eventually flat as they fade out, leaving something lingering onward toward the song’s end.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
