Blooming Next to the Cut

This was taken during last year’s bloom.
I think the angle of this interested me the most, as I think it helps the flower pair well with how the trunk has been shaped.

This is my submission into the three hundred-and-first Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. The theme for this one is “Floral“.

The host of the Lens-Artists challenges cycles weekly between the following people:

Tina

Patti

Ann-Christine aka Leya

John Steiner

Sofia Alves

Anne Sandler

Donna

Egídio

Ritva

Sofia is curating this one. Next week John is curating.

I recommend participating in the challenges as they provide a fun way to interpret theme. If not participating, then at least you should still check out what others of the Lens-Artists community are submitting.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

Its location goes really well with the trunk. Beautiful capture!

That’s lovely SH. I like the juxtaposition of the delicate flower next to the sturdy branch

  3. Such an interesting find. It proves the hardiness of life despite severe damage to the structure.

One of my favourites and so beautifully composed. I do like the way the trunk is in relation to the flowers.
