So I figured it’d be good to give an update on what has been happening over the past few weeks, which is not much. I got back from Melbourne, planned to continue wrapping things up, and that’s just what I did. However, how that was happening was in the background.

I was doing something that I’d been thinking about doing for quite a while, and eventually that thing turned into something I felt would work for one of the last bits of writing here. Something conclusive in a way. However, me being me, I didn’t start working on this thing until a few months ago, and it was a tedious thing to do. It took a lot of time.

I tried to power through it by working out how many hours this thing would take, but I had to keep putting it to the side for a few days to give myself a break. As said, it was tedious. However, that is now done and all that remains is to do the writing component and another thing, but that other thing will take far less time.

I’d hoped to have everything wrapped up nearly a month ago, but fatigue and other things have been happening. I also didn’t plan as well as I should have, but that was okay, and I gave myself an extra few days.

So I went for a drive to see family, and the day before that was what I was then aiming to make the last day of this blog.  That fell through because of fatigue. Came back home, did the writing about resuming the ending, and got back into the tedious thing, thinking that’d be only a few days. I think I wrapped that up on Wednesday. Working on it left me feeling drained, but I’m glad it’s done. The downside on working on it, however, was that everything else was put on hold. Well, there was photo processing, but that wasn’t specific to here, but that took time too… anyway.

It has been nice having a brief break from writing. I have written some things here and there, but nothing I’d consider substantial as it only amounts to a few sentences. About to get back into it, however.

Right now I have a few things ready and a few things needing completion. I’m hoping to power through it all within the next week. Hopefully less, but might be more. There still is a fair bit to get through, but I’m going to try. I really want this all wrapped up, and sure, I could just do that here and now. I could even leave the whole thing on the previous bit of writing. However, I still want to make sure that this space is as complete as I can make it.

So, yeah. Just wanted to make an update, let you all know what’s going on.
