Five-Hundred Word Challenge 833: Rambling, Rambling, Rambling

The morning rush beckons the creation of more crab and so I am ready to do so, until I am no longer ready to do so. It is almost as though I am sticking to a routine and that perhaps is a good thing, but sometimes you need to break away from things.

Shooting a gig last night was fun. Working soon is not fun. However, there will be more of both to come and so I shall persist into the future with my arms stretched out. I shall run at something and then I shall do something else and then there will be a grand explosion of creativity and the bursting forth will allow new horizons and platitudes to be reached. These were once considered unthinkable to be reached, but sometimes you do and that is a thing that is considered a good thing.

Still, it remains early in the morning and as I am talking about the future over the present, these things are yet to occur and so I shall just keep on keeping on with doing the things in the present moment. There is a lot of burning out that needs to occur first and so I am needing to work on that. I need to make sure I am tired and worn out and somewhat-unable to function before I can truly explode into the next level of creation and as so I need to overwork myself to the bone, or something, so as to be able to realise what it is whilst I am down and out. Once I have realised that, then I can go from there and try to create and communicate some more. However, maybe it won’t be that simple and really this is something that will happen without prompting. Something I have not considered up until this point.

I guess that what I am trying to say is that I am rather tired at the moment and I don’t want to work, but I have to work and I have to keep on going so that I can keep on growing as an “artist”. Takes time and takes effort, but that’s fine. Working toward things is a good thing to do, so long as you can do it, of course.

This is something that I’ve said before, but I’m saying it again as I can, but I should say other things. I should talk more about the marine world and its bountiful wonders, but right now is not the time for that as that requires more brain power.

Wait; it requires me to feel less tired, unless I want to get everything wrong rather than most things wrong. I’d rather not right now, though maybe I do want to, but I’m just not admitting it to myself.

Anyway, that has nothing to do with what I am writing at the moment. The key thing here is that there needs to be more creation in order to create more things through creation.

I’m not sure as to what I was trying to do with this one.

One Thousand Word Challenge 95: I Use the Word “Proclivity” Twice

I think that I keep on sitting here and waiting as that is indeed what I am doing. There is nothing special about this. It is a rather common occurrence and that is a thing of which I need to find out how to engage with, or something. Well, I don’t, but I guess that perhaps…

Wait a minute; I don’t have to work out how to engage with it, or find out how to engage with it for that matter. I already am engaging with it as I am experiencing it, though there is a little bit more to all of that than just stating that. One can be in the act and not engaged with the act, but let us just say that I am as it makes all of this a lot easier for me to write as something something, so I am writing it and I don’t feel like going back and erasing what I have already written as that is far off in the distance and I am just accelerating forward in the hopes that all of this comes together and creates whatever it is that I am trying to create.

Well, with that bit of analysis out of the way I know that the beat that I hear is one of which I have created by putting data that forms an audio track into data that forms a program that allows the playing of the audio track, and all of that other stuff. I also know that soon I will be leaving. The wait will be over and I will be heading out in order to engage with an event that involves using the camera to do things and that doing of the things will produce still images and I am looking forward to that very much.

I know I ramble a lot, but bear with me on this one. I’m sure that there will be something at the end of this, but of course I have to get there first.

So as I was saying, I am heading out in order to engage my camera with the subject of which it will require capturing from different angles and from different locations. This is so that there truly is an image created and not one that will be thrown away within the simplest of blinks, so hopefully it all goes to plan and then I get to hop onto my high horse and ride off into the darkened night and off elsewhere to where my swarthy talents are required so that I can go off and do other things and so on and so forth and that is how the barrel rolls.

So anyway, now that I think that I have covered everything that I am looking to cover, I can only wonder as to where I take this from here. On one hand, I am tired and should probably stop writing sooner rather than alter as this all is quite tedious to read. On the other hand, I don’t feel much like stopping and kind of want to see how much longer I can drag this out before I get tired. As I have crossed one length of writing, I shall keep on going and hope that all of this somehow turns out and makes some sort of sense, though of course those are high hopes to have, though I did mention the idea of making a point earlier on, though maybe it was stating that I was sure there would be some point. However, at this point I’m not so sure, so I’m just going to continue on and hope for the best.

I could do worse. I could just write the same word over and over. However, I do not have the kind of compunction that would allow me to do so at the current point. Rather, my interest lies elsewhere.

Now I shall use the word “proclivity”. Not for any reason other than the ability to do so.

Proclivity.

Alright, I think that that is where all of this ends. The point that I have made is long and lost and therefore I don’t think it will be made on this particular bit of writing. Such is the way that things go, but I made an effort and the effort is there and thus I know that I did something and that something shall not be forgotten. The other reason as to why this all ends here is that I need to start getting ready to head out to fulfill what it is that I need to fulfill, and that is a good thing, I think. It most certainly is not a bad thing, though I’d rather not be among large crowds as the moment as I don’t know what will or will not happened and I still want to be cautious about things. Still, need to do things and so those things will be things that get done, and that is the main thing, really.

Well, that being said, there may be other things and I should eat soon, but soon is not soon enough, though maybe it is too soon. I don’t know. I’m just struggling at this point, but I guess that is obvious and so I will pretend that I am not and just pretend that all of this is okay and I can get to the end and make sure that the last of this makes sense, so really the point is that perhaps there are times when you need to wait and draw out time, but you should try to do something when y0u can rather than nothing. If nothing else, then at least the time will pass by a little bit faster and that is always of some benefit as you may also learn something new in that time, so there are plenty of reasons, even though those are just two. The rest are up to you to discover, so go discover them.

Lightning

Pardon the angle. The camera was flat on the horizontal plane, but due to how I had to position it, it makes the photo look like it is not flat on said plane, which it isn’t, but the lightning is, so yeah.

Anyway, this is my first photo of lightning. It’s something I’ve wanted to capture for a while, but I didn’t get around to doing so for various reasons.

Last week it was raining and I was on the front patio with my housemates. There was lightning so I set up and worked on capturing it, with this photo being the successful attempt I made.

I like how the lightning appears to be moving through the sky, as well as how spacious the sky around it appears.

I hope you enjoy.

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 832: Late in the Morning

Alright, it is getting late in the morning and so I rush forward and try to conquer everything that I can. I don’t know if I can, but I can certainly try to can.

already a good chunk of the month has passed on by and yet there remains so much of it to go, and that is fine. Kind of exciting, but makes the whole thing feel both busier and lazier than it has been. What that is to say is that I don’t feel as though I have done enough this month and there still remains a lot to do, or something. I think.

So anyway, I’m waiting for things to happen and happening they are, as this is a day of work and I am sitting here and the requirement for me is to be patient and wait and watch and see what happens, as is the way of things at this present moment. In the interim I can hear the wind blowing and doing the thing that wind does. It is a sunny day outside of my window, yet it is not overly warm. That’s fine. That is nice and that is good. That’s what I think, anyway.

There still remain many an hour in this day and in this month. It seems to be going by quickly and slowly at the same time. Perhaps a little too relaxed, but the being relaxed is also a good thing, I think. It is better than being tense at the moment. I’d rather the feeling relaxed than feeling tense. That makes things more comfortable. Still need a bit of tension around, however. A bit of tension can go a long way and that is a plus that needs consideration on the odd occasion.

So essentially I’m waffling and I am rambling. I am still in pain and I am exhausted, but I am pushing through. Rather push through than let all of that hold me back, though you need to know when to ease up on the gas. Need to know when to pull back and relax. Can’t always go full bore all the time. It can be good to push through things, but only so long as you’re jot hurting yourself more, unless in you’re in a situation where you need to push through and hurt yourself more lest something terrible happen, in which case I guess it comes down to the situation, or something.

So I guess, what it is that I am saying is that I’m quite tired and I need to relax a little more, but I won’t as I don’t actually need to and as such I shall keep on going and going onward is what I shall do, as there are things that need doing and doing those things is what I need to do, but what I’m doing right now is relaxing – sort of – due to waiting for things to happen at work so I can do other things for work.

I feel as though my being tired is seeping through today, and that’s fine.

This was written a few hours ago. Sort of busy day.

Walking Away

A little bit more of The Sydney Opera House, but this time featuring two people walking away from this particular part of the building after spending a portion of time experiencing the experience of looking upon its form.

I feel as though, due to the angle, this part of the structure looks smaller than it is, which is kind of interesting. I also feel as though this is a sort of quiet, relaxed shot. It makes The Sydney Opera House feel almost abandoned, even though most of it is not visible.

I hope you enjoy.

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 831: Beckons the Day

Morning beckons the day and the morning shifts into the afternoon which shifts to the evening. A shifting of light and colour and appearance marks different forms of expressing emotion and it all comes and goes. The light rises, the darkness descends and the passing of the time is marked and monitored for each passing in various quantities, and that is the way that it is and that is the way that it shall forever be, until forever no longer is and then something else comes to replace it with something else. That is the way of things.

However, perhaps there is a cycle of which needs to be broken out of and things need to be reversed in order to truly experience what it is that the world is trying to tell us about everything. Maybe that is indeed the truth of the matter and the matter of the fact is that we’re going on about it all the wrong way and in order to find out what it is that truly matters we need to start looking at things in a different manner and from a different angle. Perhaps when the light is revealed as something else, as is the darkness, then we will understand what it is that we are trying to measure and work out and enable and disable and re-frame and contextualise.

Then again, maybe not. Maybe this is all a foolish endeavour and we really should get on with things and watch the clouds as they form and dissipate and drift across an eternal sky, sometimes providing the earth with gifts and sometimes not doing anything of the sort.

Sometimes it is easier to watch the days drift on by and assume that time passes with them also, as it does and that time never returns, but it can remain in memory. It is easy to consider this a waste of time, but sometimes that is what needs to be done and the only people who can truly consider it a waste are those that have a vested interest in how that time is spent. Outside of that it is for no one else.

Sometimes it is better to not spend the time measuring time and instead doing things that may be considered more productive than doing very little. That is something else that needs to be considered from time to time, but of course as it all passes on by the wind carries debris of some sort into the air and scatters it and as it is scattered it falls upon the earth. The grass and other forms of vegetation sway, animals respond and we relax in idyllic field and stare out into our own sought-after nothingness. It remains something that is present and can be perceived when we tune out, but we still do not see it and continue to seek it, but the days keep on passing and the earth keeps on turning, and we daydream throughout the calm, quiet afternoons.

More Sails

Sort of a follow on from a photo I shared earlier this year.

I think the way the light falls on sails in this photo is interesting. The filter I have on the lens I shot this with may have been a contributing factor.

Other than that, I think that The Sydney Opera House’s design from this angle looks interesting. Almost feels like waves.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this week.
I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit.

A lot of what people are submitting will likely end up here.

I hope you enjoy.

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 830: Build a Tower of Sorts

A lot of walking done today so I’m only getting to this in the evening, which is a bit later than I would have liked, but hey, sometimes that is the way that things go. Too late for me to do anything about earlier today, so now I approach the keyboard and try to pour out my thoughts in a way that makes sense and creates a construct of some towering menace and might so that I may yet come to rule the day one more time with an ironclad grasp and rather cold stare, but I’ll worry about that at another time now that I think about it. Not right now. Later. Another day. Now is the time to rest. Not the time to build a tower of sorts.

However, maybe this writing will help conjure the tower and so in doing so I will be able to ride it to locations unknown and majestic, and then there will be other ways in which I will be able to view things from different angles, which of course has its own merit and pleasantness that can certainly be explored through the medium of observation.

What is it that shall be observed? Is it even something that I will be able to perceive?

Maybe there will need to be some sort of writing. Will need to write down the feelings and experiences that I have and experience so that I can keep a log of sorts about the experience of observation from places of which I was not able to make observations beforehand. That would be nice, or maybe it would not. It could be terrifying. However, that is something of which I feel is necessary that I face so as to be able to keep on going down the paths of which I choose to create and unmake in my process of advancing forward in the way that I seem to feel is the way of which I need to move forward. That is what I am saying and I say that as that is what I hope to do… one day.

Well, maybe not. Right now I know not what it is that I hope to do, but I do hope to rest and that will be soon. My knees are rather sore due to how part of today’s walking was handled, and that I’m okay with, but I could’ve done better, I think. Anyway, rest will soon come and it will be mine to embrace and embrace it readily I shall as I am tired and grouchy and I want tor est and get a good sleep sot hat I can wake up tomorrow and feel as though I had a good sleep which would be something that I want to feel.

Maybe instead of that, however, I’ll just work toward building some sort of giant tower were I will be able to rule everything with a cold stare and ironclad grip, but that might take some time.

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 829: A Thing Seeking Something

Alright, so once there was a thing and this thing wanted to do something but it had no idea as to what it wanted to do, but it knew. It knew that there was something out there that it wanted to do and so it was determined to do that thing, so long as it could first work out what that thing was that it wanted to do.

There was of course no telling as to what that thing was that that thing wanted to do, but it knew that it was indeed something and so one day it went out in search of something to do. This was what it considered to be its mission and quest, and so it needed to find a way to get there and do the thing and so on and so forth.

And so it set out, off along the road ahead, looking for something, anything, that would be the thing that would allow it to do something. The thing knew that something just had to be out there and so it knew the path would help get there, or something. It just knew and knowing was part of what it had to contend with in its reckoning of the desire and pathways of which all lay ahead.

However, there was always the possibility that just perhaps there was the chance that the thing the thing wanted to do was the thing the thing was doing in that present moment, which just so happened to involve motion in the forward direction toward some sort of location in which there could be rest acquired, then some other things, then heading off toward another location. This was a possibility that the thing had not considered and perhaps it should have found a way to consider the possibility sooner rather than later, such that it was something of which was yet to be considered and so it remained as such and the thing continued on its journey to wherever it was that it was going in order to work out the thing that the thing wanted to do.

However, of course, in missing out on the realisaition it just kept on journeying. It enjoyed the journey – that much was true – but it knew not what the journey provided and that was the real shame. Eventually the thing returned to its original location and it sat there, trying to work out if anything had gone wrong, and if so, what that thing was, or if it were a series of multiple things that had gone wrong, but of course it was not able to work this out and so it continue on with its life and did other things, trying to work out that one little something it was that it wanted to do, but never quite getting there.

And so it set out on more journeys to work this out, never realising and always trying, believing that eventually it would figure out that something it sought.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 06:12:72

The first thing I feel is apparent is that in slowing down a little the quality of writing improved.

The second thing is that I think this is an exercise in repetition.
