As far as I am aware, it was over food.
Kind of a weird photo, but I do like the motion and form of the Ibis.
I hope you enjoy.

A Eurasian Coot darts upon the face of the water, food in mouth, off to some location where it may be able to consume in peace.
Whilst I think this would have been better if the head was in focus, I haven’t captured a photo of a Eurasian Coot running at this angle before and I’m pretty happy with the result.
You get a good idea of the bird’s motion, where its going, its speed and how it moves.
I like how the water is impacted. It makes for a nice contrast between it and the still water.
I hope you enjoy.
Somehow sore and yet., not swollen.
Tired I happen to be today. Woke up early. Not sure why. Moving forward, moving along.
Getting there. Getting somewhere. Getting on with the getting on with things.
Need to stop procrastinating. Need to do something toward achieving something. Need to do more work. Need to do more writing. Need to not sit here all the time and perhaps find another place to sit for all of the time.
Need to wake up, work it and work on working out working it. Need to keep on going toward something else.
Need to shake the bugs form my brain, need to fill up the space with more grey matter. Need to see where it is that I’m going and stop looking at my feet all of the time.
Need to stop letting the distractions distract me form getting the words from my mind to the screen. Need to make sure that there’s nothing in my way that I’m going to continually allow to guide me away from what I want to do. Need to keep the focus. Need to stop standing still. Need to keep on driving. Need to need something greater than whatever it is that I am on this particular day.
Looking at the keys. It;’s a good start. Looking out the window that is boarded up does not help matters at the moment. There is much that needs to be done before the end of the day and the longer I look away from the tasks in front of me, the longer things go by unfinished. Need to have a checklist.
Need to maintain my posture. Need to sit upright. Need to stop hunching. Need to make sure that the clothes I’m wearing look just so. Need to dig into the deep underneath that is around me and pull out the fresh, nutrient-rich resources that I can dip into, but need to make sure that I don’t remove them all.
There needs to be a balance of everything and continually chewing through that which nourishes will only lead to some sort of instability.
Then again, burning brightly may lead to…
Need to maintain a balance. Need to maintain a regimented formula. Do not need to strictly follow the guidelines, but need to motivate the self more often. Need to keep on going. Need to keep on working. Need to keep on moving. Need to maintain health. Need to get good sleep. Need to keep pushing on. Need to make sure that the drivers aren’t dying. Need to burn out at some point, but also need to get back up instead of remaining in perpetuity. Need to see more than what is currently surrounding my being. Need to open my eyes. Need to be better tomorrow than yesterday. Need to make sure that all that is happening does well for success.
Well, it’s all that, or I could just go at my own pace which seems to have done me well so far.

Quite possibly a bit more pompous than I had intended.
Did I intend for this to be anything?
Not sure.
Written at UNSW.
Doing it again.
Doing it once more.
However, there will be more after this. Of this I can assure you, but then again you probably already knew that that would be the case.
In that case, I do not know as to why I am saying this at this hour o-f the morning.
I don’t know why, or how, when or where, I do not know and I do not care.
However, that may be a lie, but if it is indeed a lie then it must be lying somewhere in order to lie upward and face outward and look inward toward the rear of the earth.
There was a field of grass and the wind blew through the field, carrying upon it a sound of rustling, but it was not ominous in any sense of the word.
Clouds drifted on by and looking upward was the task of the day.
Lying there, not lying about things and just being able to relax for at least a little bit.
Those were the days and those were the times that were carried on, in the forms of memories that drifted along like the clouds on that very day.
Blue specked with white, or perhaps it was white specked with blue. It was a bit hard to tell and not all of it was distinct, as the memories faded over time, but they were still a treasured thing that would be held dear and near to those who were there to experience the day that was one of relaxation.
Perhaps it was on that particular day that lives went down a different path to what was expected. Perhaps it was just on that particular day that was one of needed rest and relaxation and there was no change at all.
The clouds drifted, the breeze was peasant and sometimes the sounds of insects doing their busy work could be heard.
There was nothing to suggest unpleasantness. There was nothing to suggest terror or pain or sadness.
There was a strong sense of calm, as though the picturesque scene was one that was perfect in every way that it needed to be.
You could close your eyes and drift off with the clouds and be carried away, then open your eyes after a while to reveal that the scene was still as relaxing as it had been prior to the closing of the eyes.
The breeze was cool and gentle, sliding over and around those that were there, staring up at the sky, losing themselves in its grand space and exploring what felt like infinite possibilities.
It was not too last, but at least in those fleeting moments it was something that could stretch eternally, for there was losing oneself in the space and the time and the vast open area and there was a needed peace all around them in those moments.
It could have been lived entirely in, and it could have been fully embraced, but it was not to last.

Kind of okay.
Kind of.
Written at work.
There’s a good amount of texture in this shot.
A few different ones in the water and the rock platform, as well as the sky.
The smoothness of the clouds does well to contrast with the semi-rough appearance of the sea spray, I think.
I think the clouds also do a lot to help set the mood of the photo. Had they not been there and I don’t think the sea spray would have felt as amazing as it does to me.
Leanne Cole recently has started a new photo challenge.
This is for the current challenge with the theme being “Clouds”.
I hope you enjoy.
I was going to write something earlier but today has been a bit weird and I’m not feeling too up for writing too much.
Instead, here’s my part of the final word for the ending of Cool Try, which is a bit of a saddening thing but it’s leading to something new, so it’s not all downbeat.
I hope you enjoy.

A brief bit of background: When I came on to Cool Try I had occasionally written reviews. However, it was something that I never did with any sort of frequency.
I wanted to be doing review stuff at a more frequent rate, so when the opportunity to write for Cool Try presented itself I was happy to jump on board. In 2015 a friend of mine introduced me to Sean. Sean then sent me Cum the Raw Prawn by Cosmic Psychos.
From there I’ve been able to hear a lot of different releases by a number of different artists, had an excuse to conduct haphazard reviews and churned out a lot of words, although I feel I should have written more.
Personally I feel that being part of Cool Try has been a really good thing. The environment has been welcoming and there’s been a trust in my writing and my ability to finish things off. Some times its been a bit challenging (mostly getting things finished in a timely manner), but overall I don’t have a bad word to say.
When I found out that Sean was stepping down from Cool Try I was surprised as I didn’t expect it to be something that would happen. With that being said, he’s stepping down on good terms and we wish nothing but the best for him in the future, blah blah blah and so on and so forth.
It sucks, but at least Sean is happy and that’s what matters.
Sixo spoke to me about working with me on continuing with Cool Try, but she felt it was weird to go on without Sean and I couldn’t disagree with the sentiment. She wanted to first think about what to do next as there was consideration for doing something a bit new and a bit different.
After a few days she got back and the decision was made to wrap up Cool Try, so here is where it ends.
This is the part that explains why I’m really lucky: Sixo and I are working on something that will be coming soon. It will be something that we hope is most delectable. It will be something similar to Cool Try, but also different in a few ways.
For now we say farewell to Cool Try. It was a good run.
We’ll see you soon.
Cunjevoi found at the rocky intertidal zone of Maroubra.
They appear to be something akin to rock, but a rock they are not.
Some people might find them unsightly, but I think they’re pretty fascinating.
Sometimes “Small is Beautiful” and I think that in a way this applies for cunjevoi.
They’ve some interesting textures and shape to them and in this photo they seem to form a nice, flowing pattern.
This is my submission into the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge for this week.
This challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti of https://pilotfishblog.com/
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya of https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/
Week 3 – Amy of https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/
Week 4 – Tina of https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/
This week is hosted by Amy and next week’s will be hosted by Tina.
I suggest following and considering participating, but also seeing how other people have responded to the photo challenge from The Daily Post ending.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
Two forms of clouds in one photo.
Who would’ve thought?
A relaxing photo showing clouds in motion, drifting across the blue canvass to create images and patterns.
I hope you enjoy.
I hope that I can get this done in under five minutes.
I don’t know as to what I’m going to write about this morning, so the first challenge of the day is seeing what comes out and then seeing if there is a topic of focus.
Of course, if that is indeed the case, I’ll need to go to the horses and ask the horses as to what I should write about this morning. However, the horses do not know.
I should then go to the wombats and ask them as tow hat I should write about this morning. However, the wombats do not know.
I’d ask the dolphins, but I’d rather not talk to them.
Therefore, I do not know where this will lead. It will probably not lead to anywhere, or to anything and that is something I must accept. I must accept that there will be a period of time in which this will be finished.
I am combating old injuries and racing as much as I can, and yet I am stationary in my position. Some would say sedentary. However, whilst I am firmly seated at the current moment of passing, my hands are moving faster than they usually do. Does this imply some sort of contrast or duality? I do not know, for the questions are for me to answer and the answers to those questions I do not have.
There is a silence in the office, but I am filling it with my typing of this morning. I am trying to get to the end and thus this would relieve the ears of my colleagues, but it may take time and I’m sure that there is some sort of rhythmic uncertainty that can be unraveled from all the sound that I am creating. I do not know.
I know that soon there will be coffee in my life once more. It shall be drunk, I shall be filled and then I shall be even more awake in feeling than I currently am. Well, I hope that is the way.
The way that this all goes. There is no telling as of yet. Small words, big words, a mix, a confluence of words and it shall stretch about across my vision.
Need to get into typing position, need to brace for impact, need to see the other way in which I can present myself through the words that leave my mind through the conduit of my fingers.
Need to look for a way forward without sidestepping the issues of the words that lay in front of me.
Need to find a way to tango with the language in which the expression of which I am using is put forward, so that the expression and the grace of someone mercilessly beating on a keyboard can be seen as though it were a clunky ballet that seems to want to express more than it can when put in an awkward position of sorts, if you won’t.
The time it took to write five-hundred words: 05:07:28
Close enough.
A bit haphazard, a bit all over the place, but I think this ended up being more about rhythm than it did sense.
I think.
Written at work.
