Approaching the Ground
Not sure if this is one of the more interesting ibis photos I’ve taken or not, but I do like it. Has perhaps too much of a contrast between light and shade, which helps make the ibis look odd, or … Continue reading
Corella’s Landing
Here’s a photo I took yesterday. The framing isn’t the best, but I did alright. Very much like the shape of the wings from the left to the right. I hope you enjoy.
Land to Float
Here’s a goose and it looks odd due to the moment of capture, or something. Not the best photo; not the worst, but I’m pretty happy with this one as it feels natural and feels odd at the same time. … Continue reading

Landing in the Group
I’m not entirely sure, but I believe this gull was trying to get some of the food. I hope you enjoy.

Hirundo neoxena
Specifically, two of them. This was taken at Centennial Park. I’ve tried to photograph these birds before, or at least birds that look like these ones, and I’ve not had much luck. I hope you enjoy.

Watching the Other Land
At least, that’s how it appears to me. This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this week. Participating is pretty straightforward and something I recommend. If you do, then include the tag “monochrome-madness” in your post. If not … Continue reading

One Thousand Word Challenge 68: Uninteresting
It’s a really slow day as today is a public holiday, but I don’t want to get too much int0o it and somehow curse the rest of my shift, thus causing me to have to take far too many calls, … Continue reading

Landing Duck
A photo of a feathered friend in the process of landing. I like how it appears here. Sort of still, but also sort of in motion. I also like that the water is not heavily disturbed. I hope you enjoy.

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 512: Very Sudden for Them
Scaling and oscillating around itself whilst also moving upward, outward, inward, and downward, circular and yet never meeting despite passing through like spirits on the streets and rubbing the shoulders with the grass on the fields and watching it all … Continue reading
