Under a Guitar
Another toe photo, and I can’t remember if this one made it to the Culture Eater gallery. Sure, I could check, but I’m not going to. Might later. Anyway, this, I feel, has a slight expressive feel. Could feel more … Continue reading

Hanging Sound
One of the better photos from a night where I didn’t do as well as I should have. Just an expressive moment of music from one of toe’s members, and that’s all there is to say, really. This is my … Continue reading

Flowing Sound
A couple of nights ago I was photographing toe who were performing in Sydney. Decided to play around a bit with shutter times, got this one. During processing I realised it wasn’t as good as I thought, but I still … Continue reading

Silhouettes Playing to Shadows
Another band photo. Feels quiet in a sense, and perhaps it was, but it might more accurate to describe this moment as “low”, if that makes sense. I’m fairly certain the band wasn’t playing a louder song at this moment. … Continue reading

Bathed in Stage Light
This is a (kind of) recent photo I took, and it’s one I’m fairly happy with, though it is a bit blown out in spots. It’s just a band performing and the light is nice… mostly. I hope you enjoy.

Left and Forward
Here’s a photo of two members of Monster Zoku Onsomb! as seen supporting Regurgitator last month. I’m pretty sure it was last month they were in Sydney. Anyway. This didn’t come out as well as I’d hoped, hence the result … Continue reading

Face Beside the Light
More experimenting and making a mess of things. There are bodies in this, but they’re obscured, as is the way sometimes. I hope you enjoy.

Flared Head
A gig photo that turned out well but wasn’t as usable as I’d hoped. Still, I think it’s an interesting photo. Almost feels as though it’s showing some sort of magnificence. This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for … Continue reading

Within Blue Light
I cannot remember as to which band this is, though I have a good idea. Anyway, I didn’t use this photo when the gallery of this gig was published. It didn’t fit and it’s not that great anyway. Still, I … Continue reading

Red Smear
Same artists as seen here. I like how in this one the main red seems to go around the desk. I also like how there’s this dragging mass that renders even the recognisable less so. I hope you enjoy.
