Talk
A photo of three pigeons. Two are having a minor squabble. I was watching these pigeons for a while as they were bathing in the water and I wanted to get a few shots of them in motion for the … Continue reading
Clouds Carry the Morning Light
First morning of the recent field trip to Smiths Lake. I like the colour of the clouds in this one. It’s soft and warm and seems to add a bit of depth to the clouds as they billow outward. The … Continue reading

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 403: Far More Than Usual
There is a whirring somewhere in the background and I do not know what is causing it to occur, but I do imagine that it has to do with the air conditioning of the office as it slowly powers up, … Continue reading
Fulica atra Cleaning Itself
Three shots that I took yesterday for an upcoming university assignment. I think the form is great and you get an idea of how the coot is moving, but not a good idea of how it is moving and what … Continue reading

Dreaming of the Big Catch
A person fishes off of a wharf, spending time patient and waiting. I was really lucky with these photos. I think that they’re framed really well and the colour is nicely balanced throughout each photo. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
Ferry Wake
Here we have a photo of the wake of a ferry. I like the way the (mostly) undisturbed water disappears between the wake, and I also like how the wake seems to be crashing over itself. I think that it … Continue reading

Horse-fly
Here’s something I saw whilst I was last at Smiths Lake. It’s a horse-fly in a puddle. I like the way that it affects the water with movement, as well as the patterns that occur. I also like how it … Continue reading
