Building Among the Light Lines

Whilst I was taking photos of The Galeries Victoria, I wanted to see if I could get a shot more directly under them.

I waited for the lights to allow pedestrian crossing, ran into the middle of the road and prepared to take my photo.
There was someone working on the light rail track construction there who told me I couldn’t run onto the road. I told them I’d be quick, to which they asked something along the lines of “what, five seconds?”.

I took my photo faster than that.

They were happy. I was kicking myself slightly as I worked out that I’d be able to get a thirty second shot, but I had other shots I was happy with so I didn’t feel it was too much of a loss.

When I checked the result, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. The building was capture pretty well and the light lines frame it quite well.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
