Another shot taken when I went on a solo camping trip last year.
Here we see Mount Solitary in the afternoon instead of another time of day.
What I like about this photo (as well as the other photos I’ve taken of Mount Solitary) is that it shows the mountain in “Solitude” despite being surrounded by a plethora of nature.
I like how some of the clouds look like they’re coming from a point directly above Mount Solitary and are expanding in size as they float away.
I also like how they cast a shadow on part of the photo.
I mostly like the photo because it has Mount Solitary in it and how it feels powerful and kind of intense.
At this point, I think that Mount Solitary has a certain resonance.
I’m not sure in which way, but I think it does.
It’s a rather beautiful thing to see.
