The silent, soothing sounds of construction are emanating from somewhere to the right of me, for there seems to be some sort of construction occurring outside, although I cannot see it.

The sun is shining through the window, illuminating my spot better than the lights above me, making it a little easier to see the computer screen in front of me, which is something that I consider to be good as my eyes now do’t have to work as hard as they would otherwise.

The lights just went off and now the shadows around me extend.

Now they are back on and the shadows around me retreat to hide away, for the light is not what they want to be among, much preferring to remain hidden away or turning away from a source of light in order to extend as far as they need.

Places I’d prefer to be: somewhere along a highway, cycling along at a fairly fast pace, getting somewhere to take photos near the ocean.

Somewhere in the bush.

Somewhere overseas.

somewhere that did not involve studying right now.

I would very much like to be a passenger, but that involves climbing aboard with someone that I do not know as they are now leaving.

However, if I did climb aboard, I would eventually be able to step outside and see another world, but only if I really wanted to be a passenger.

Would I be able to see those that I cherish once more if I did something such as this?

Travelling through space can take a longer time than some of us suspect.

Such is the way of travel.

It is as fast as it is slow and there is little that we can do about that at this current moment.

Perhaps in the future we may be able to, but for now we must work with the confines that we have set around us.

Now I have no idea as to what I am going on about.

I do know that there are sounds outside and I’d rather not be at university right now.

I also know that there are assignments that need doing and I really should be working on them right now, but that is not happening as I am currently writing this to help me warm up so that I will do better when I take to the assignments that need to be taken to in order to ensure that they are successfully completed.

I also know that I am trying to write in order to not be lazy and keep on writing down things that will hopefully help me improve on my ability to write so that it will become something akin to consistently tolerable.

Words are words and words need to be used more often with clear communication.
