There was a brief stop in the Royal National Park when two of my university colleagues and I were heading back to Sydney from the marine science field trip.

I saw a part of the area around Audley Weir that I had not seen before.

I like the angles and lines in this photo, how the colour on the wall appears to be in layers, the brightness of the sky contrasting with the trees, as well as the texture of the water.

I also like how far removed from the city this feels.
