I think that this photo was only a partial success.

I was trying to get as much of the sun hidden behind the tree as I could but I didn’t completely account for the brightness.

Still, I think the photo is decent.

I think that the focus on the tree falls more on its shape than its detail.

I do like the way the rocks sit around the tree, and I think that the softer colouring makes the photo a little easier to look upon.
