Eroding Layers of Rocky Clifftops

I’ve sat on this one for a little while and I’m not sure why.

I think that the light is balanced really well and the layers create a pattern redolent of waves, wind blowing through a field, and sand dunes.

I like how the minerals in the rock have faded due to weathering and yet are still quite visible.

I also like how much detail there is in the shot.
