Afternoon at St Kilda Beach

My partner and I walked by the beach at St Kilda after having lunch in the area.

Even though it was a little cold, the weather was “cooling” further.
This may have to do with it being winter when these photos were taken.

I like the lighting of this photo and the way it softens some of the objects in the distance.

Not sure about the people in the photo.

I like that they’re doing something and this doesn’t feel like one of those “cool people doing cool things” photos, but I don’t think they add much to the scene.

Oh well.

This is my submission into the first Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

In the wake of The Daily Post‘s photo challenge a few people have banded together to keep the weekly challenges going. The one that I’m following will be hosted by these four in alternating cycles:

Week 1 – Patti of https://pilotfishblog.com/

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya of https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/

Week 3 – Amy of https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/

Week 4 – Tina of https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/

I suggest following and considering participating, but also seeing how other people have responded to the photo challenge from The Daily Post ending.

Anyway, I hope you  enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

And I did – enjoy it! Cooling by the sea is always right, and you have caught a wonderful light.
