A sculpture by Wendy Teakel on display as part of Sculpture by the Sea.
I’m not sure of the meaning of the artwork, but I do like the way that it works with the landscape.
I like the way that it draws attention due to being a strong contrast to that which it is surrounded by.
This is my submission into the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge for this week.
The challenge for this week is “BIG Can be Beautiful Too“.
I think that this photo is appropriate as the ocean, as well as the coastline can be beautiful things and they’re pretty big.
This challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti of https://pilotfishblog.com/
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya of https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/
Week 3 – Amy of https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/
Week 4 – Tina of https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/
This week is hosted by Tina and next week’s will be hosted by Patti.
I suggest following and considering participating, but also seeing how other people have responded to the photo challenge from The Daily Post ending.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

I think perhaps the ocean is the biggest thing we have so good choice!
