More photography of The Cooks River.
The reflection is distorted, but not to the point where you can’t tell what anything is.
It looks like an imitation of an impressionist painting, I think.
The afternoon light is captured on the transmission tower nicely.
It almost seems like that’s the colour the tower is meant to be.
The colouring is soft and gentle. There’s a relaxing quality to the shot.
This is my submission into The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme this week is “Something Old, Something New“.
The artificial riverbed and the transmission tower both have been around for a while, but in comparison to The Cooks River itself, they’re much younger elements in the area.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This week is hosted by Tina and next week’s will be hosted by Patti.
I recommend checking out the challenge to see how people interpret each theme.
I also recommend giving it a go.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Cannot beat a good reflection! One of these weeks we’ll have to use that as the challenge 😊

Maybe. Better done with a twist, I think.
