Five-Hundred Word Challenge 682: An Ordeal That Isn’t Much of an Ordeal

It’s cold, it’s raining and I’m wearing gloves.

Yes, that is a good way to start.

Sitting here, doing the thing. Waiting for the shift to commence so that I can earn some coin so that I can keep on eating. Internet got fixed. Turned out the node was underwater. Kind of surprised it took them as long as it did to work that out, but at least it is now fixed.

So I’m sitting here and rather sore from yesterday’s endeavour (of which I’ll write about and upload some time in the future), but I’m pushing on as there are things to do and I need to stay active in order to stay active. Bit tired as kept waking up throughout the night, but sometimes that is what happens and sometimes you just have to keep on going in the face of fatigue in order to see the next day through. Not the worst fatigue, but fatigue nonetheless.

Need to stay focused and probably should not have had chocolate a bit earlier, but I’m fairly certain that I’ll somehow persevere. There is no telling just as to how at the moment, but somehow in some way I will get through this ordeal in which I have managed to successfully put myself.

Not the worst ordeal, but an ordeal nonetheless. Therefore it is required that I be as dramatic as possible about this whole thing. If I don’t, then there is no telling just as to how much of an ordeal this ordeal just so happens to be at this place in time and space. Perhaps that can be considered a good thing as sometimes it is better to not know, but this is something that everyone should know, regardless of how little they actually should know about this ordeal which just so happens to not be much of an ordeal.

Therefore, very soon this writing will be about the ordeal at hand which is referred to as the ordeal involving eating chocolate a little too early in the day and needing to commence the job of occupation a little too soon, thus forcing me into a position of arduous confusion and lack of preparation as that is the way this thing goes and it totally is not my fault whatsoever. It is the fault of everyone else except for me and no one can change that. Therefore it is up to everyone else to clean up my mistake, even though there is no mistake to clean up, therefore something else that leads into the next paragraph or whatever it is that I lead into next.

Well, I guess it turned out to be a new paragraph. I guess that at this point that isn’t surprising, but sometimes it might just be surprising. We’ll have to pretend that it was surprising as that way it seems all the more dramatic and suspenseful; something that could make this more interesting.

Now, with that all said, here comes the highly vaunted conclusion.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 07:37:94

Not great, but I do like how silly this turned out.

Written at home.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should.
